At JPW Industries, we don't just build products, we build careers.

Own the numbers behind the brands that build America's workshops.

Love a clean close? Get a real thrill out of a reconciliation that ties to the penny, or a variance you can explain in one sentence? As our Senior Accountant, you will be a core player on the accounting team, owning key balance sheet and income statement accounts and helping deliver a timely, accurate month-end close. And you will do it at a company that expects you to use AI every day to work smarter.

JPW Industries is a woodworking and metalworking machinery and tools company behind some of the most trusted names in the trade: Jet, Powermatic, Wilton, Edwards, Baileigh, and Axiom. With domestic and international entities, intercompany activity, lender reporting, and a full annual audit, this role offers broad exposure and real influence on how our accounting function runs, modernizes, and scales.

What You Will Own

This is not a narrow, one-account seat. You will own outcomes that leadership relies on every month:

A Reliable Close: Journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations that land on time and hold up to scrutiny.
Account Integrity: Well-supported schedules for fixed assets, leases, debt, equity, intangibles, and intercompany balances across entities.
Audit and Compliance Readiness: Clean audit support, lender and covenant reporting support, and sales and use tax processes that run smoothly.
A Smarter Process: Using AI and automation to shorten the close, strengthen controls, and share what works with the team.

Your First Year: What Success Looks Like

You own your assigned close tasks and reconciliations end to end, delivered on the close calendar with minimal review comments.
You have supported a full annual audit cycle, preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests quickly and accurately.
You have automated or streamlined at least one recurring task using AI or other tools, and shared the approach with the team.
You are the go-to person for the accounts you own, able to explain significant variances clearly to the Accounting Manager and stakeholders.
