Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. HRIS Manager – Workday HCM to lead the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of our Workday HCM platform.

This role serves as a Workday subject matter expert, ensuring system integrity, driving process improvements, and fostering strong collaboration across HR, IT, Payroll, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will also have strong Workday Security Administration and advanced report-writing experience to manage permissions, maintain data governance, and deliver meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

Identify, implement, and maintain modern HR technology solutions across multiple platforms.
Independently lead HRIS projects, including system selection, planning, testing, training, customization, implementation, and communication.
Partner with HR and business stakeholders to support strategic, operational, and regulatory compliance initiatives across business units.
Serve as the liaison between HR users, IT teams, vendors, and technical support for HR systems.
Analyze system issues, recommend solutions, and communicate complex processes in a clear, user-friendly manner.
Recommend technology enhancements that improve HR productivity, efficiency, and user experience.
Stay current on emerging HR technology trends and evaluate their business impact.
Mentor and guide team members, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
Maintain data integrity, security, governance, and compliance across HRIS platforms.
Design, configure, test, and optimize Workday business processes end-to-end.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in HRIS, database, or information systems management.
Extensive hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
Strong expertise in Workday Security Administration and advanced Workday reporting.
Experience managing HRIS audits, data governance, and complex reporting and analytics.
Experience with business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting is preferred.
Project management experience leading multiple concurrent HR technology initiatives.
Proven ability to gather requirements, design, configure, and test Workday business processes.
Strong understanding of Workday and other cloud-based HR applications.
Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and drive adoption of new technologies and processes.
