Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Human Resources, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business/Administration, Engineering, Management; or a related field; or relevant verifiable work experience.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional Workday experience, preferably within Information Technology in a troubleshooting/ticketing system or security/entitlements or similar role.
Preferred Certifications: Workday Pro Certified in either Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking.
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Administrator with a focus on Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking. The Workday Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, working out of a ticketing system and overall administration of the Workday system. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure the effective use of the Workday platform.
Critical Action Items:
- Configure, maintain, and support Workday, including at least two of the following modules: Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, Time Tracking, and other modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Manage and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.
- Design and generate custom reports and dashboards to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and implementing necessary controls.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any potential issues.
- Stay current with Workday updates and new features, recommending improvements to optimize system usage.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking configuration and administration.
- Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Benefits, Pay, and Compensation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Workday certification is preferred in either Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking.
- Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
