Position Overview
A highly respected private liberal arts institution is seeking an HR Operations Analyst to support and optimize Human Resources operations through effective management of HR systems, data integrity, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role will serve as a key partner in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s Workday HRIS environment while supporting HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the organization’s Workday HRIS platform, including data management, system configuration support, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Partner with HR leadership to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance operational efficiency
- Create and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and data analytics to support business decision-making
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of employee and organizational data
- Support HR processes including onboarding, job changes, compensation updates, benefits administration, and offboarding within Workday
- Assist with testing, implementation, and rollout of Workday enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and operational support
- Develop and maintain HR process documentation, SOPs, and user training materials
- Support compliance reporting and HR audits as needed
- Provide end-user support and guidance for HR system functionality and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of HRIS experience required
- Hands-on experience working within Workday HRIS strongly preferred
- Experience with HR reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR data management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments
