We have a long term contract for Workday HCM Function Architect with a client based in VT.
This would be remote but travel is required when needed by the client - Expenses Paid
The Workday HCM Architect is responsible for the overall design, architecture, implementation, optimization, and governance of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role serves as the technical and functional leader for Workday solutions, partnering with HR, IT, Product, Security, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient HR technology solutions. The architect provides expertise across multiple Workday modules, integrations, reporting, security, and business processes while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Workday HCM solutions.
- Define scalable and future-ready solutions across Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Learning, and Performance modules.
- Develop architecture blueprints, design standards, and implementation roadmaps.
Workday Configuration & Optimization
- Design and oversee complex Workday configurations, business processes, and workflows.
- Establish governance standards for tenant management and system configuration.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 3+ years in a Workday Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Consultant role.
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience.
- Experience leading large-scale Workday implementations and transformations.
- Experience with global or multi-country Workday deployment
