We're partnering with a large, multi-site organization seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Systems to lead and optimize its finance technology ecosystem.
This individual will serve as the primary owner of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning while driving process improvements, automation initiatives, reporting enhancements, and cross-functional transformation projects.
This role sits within Finance and will partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, IT, HR, and operational leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong financial systems expertise with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead change initiatives, and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
What You'll Do
- Own and administer Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
- Serve as the primary Finance Systems SME across the organization
- Lead system enhancements, configurations, reporting, and process improvements
- Partner with Finance, IT, HR, and business leaders to develop scalable solutions
- Drive automation efforts and reduce reliance on manual spreadsheet-based processes
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and data visualization tools
- Lead user training, change management, and adoption initiatives
- Manage system releases, testing, and deployment activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related areas
- Hands-on Workday Financials administration experience
- Experience supporting or administering Adaptive Planning
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes
- Experience with reporting, business process configuration, and system optimization
- Proven ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication, training, and change management skills
