An Industry Leader With a Heart as Big as Its Ambition and Innovation
At Victaulic, we’re committed to constructing a better world for and with our people.
Let’s Build a Better World Together.
Our commitment to our people is built on four pillars:
- We build from within.
- We stand behind our people.
- We foster an environment for constant learning.
- We engineer change for a more stable and sustainable world.
YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We're looking for a seasoned Talent Acquisition leader who thrives in the middle of the action — someone who can build and develop a team while still rolling up their sleeves and closing hard-to-fill, senior-level roles. This isn't a behind-the-desk manager position. You'll own a direct requisition load of senior level hires while leading a team of approximately 6 recruiters and 2 coordinators. If you are energized by both the craft of recruiting and the responsibility of developing others, this role was built for you.
What You’ll Build & Own
Lead & Develop Your Team
- Coach, mentor, and manage a team of approximately 6 recruiters and 2 Coordinators — owning their growth, performance, and day-to-day experience.
- Set clear expectations, hold regular 1:1s, and build individualized development plans that elevate every member of the team.
- Manage req load distribution, prioritization, and coverage to keep the team running at peak capacity.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement — where wins are celebrated and gaps are fixed fast.
Recruit at the Executive Level
- Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and director-level positions across the organization — averaging 20–30 hires per year.
- Run intake meetings, lead sourcing strategy, manage candidate experience, and close offers for complex, high-visibility roles.
- Build and maintain executive-level talent pipelines so the business is never starting from zero on a critical hire.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to senior business leaders and HRBPs on talent strategy, market intelligence, and hiring approach.
Drive Strategy & Process Excellence
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to forecast demand, shape workforce plans, and stay ahead of hiring needs.
- Champion process improvements that reduce time-to-fill, strengthen candidate quality, and make the hiring manager experience genuinely great.
- Leverage data and recruiting metrics to tell the story of team performance and make the case for what's working — or what needs to change.
- Maintain accurate requisition and candidate data in Workday Recruiting; own reporting integrity for your team's portfolio.
Key Competencies
- Full-cycle recruiting expertise across diverse functions and levels, from individual contributor to executive hiring.
- Coaching, mentoring, and team development with a player-coach orientation.
- Stakeholder management and the ability to build trusted advisory relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders.
- Data-driven decision-making with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
- Process optimization and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Change management and the ability to lead through ambiguity.
What You Bring
- 8-10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 3-5 years in a formal leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field; manufacturing or industrial environment experience is a plus.
- Currently (or recently) in a Talent Acquisition Manager role within a corporate environment — you know what good looks like and have built it.
- Proven experience recruiting for senior-level roles; you understand the nuance and patience those searches require.
- A true player-coach: equally comfortable strategizing with leadership as you are reviewing a sourcing plan with a recruiter.
- Track record of building high-performing, engaged recruiting teams — not just managing them.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting strongly preferred; ATS fluency is a must.
- Strong communicator and influencer — you can make the case, build trust, and move stakeholders.
What Sets You Apart
- A hands-on leader who leads by example
- Comfortable balancing strategy and execution
- Data-driven but relationship-focused
- Highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Credible with executive stakeholders
