Senior Director / Managing Director Opportunity – PE FP&A Advisory
$350k–$400k total compensation + equity grant
I’m working with a fast-growing financial consulting firm that is continuing to scale its FP&A Advisory / Office of the CFO practice, with a key focus on Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.
About the Role
This is a senior opportunity for an experienced FP&A, Strategic Finance, CFO Advisory or Finance Transformation leader who understands the pace, expectations and value creation agenda within PE-backed businesses.
Responsibilities
- Advising PE sponsors, portfolio company CFOs, finance leaders and executive teams across:
- FP&A transformation and finance operating model improvement
- Budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
- Management reporting, KPI development and performance dashboards
- Strategic finance and scenario modelling
- Liquidity, cash forecasting and working capital visibility
- Board, lender and investor-ready reporting
- Finance transformation and performance improvement
- Transaction-related support across M&A, post-close integration, refinancing and exit readiness
- Value creation initiatives linked to revenue, margin, cost, cash and operational performance
Qualifications
The ideal profile will bring 10+ years’ experience across FP&A, strategic finance, CFO advisory, finance transformation or PE value creation.
Required Skills
- Relevant backgrounds could include:
- FP&A Advisory / Office of the CFO consulting
- Strategic Finance / PE Value Creation
- Finance Transformation or Performance Improvement
- Corporate FP&A leadership within PE-backed portfolio companies
- Interim CFO / Head of FP&A experience in sponsor-backed environments
- Transaction, integration or exit-readiness finance support
Preferred Skills
Experience working with Private Equity sponsors, portfolio company CFOs, boards or lender groups would be highly relevant. Technology exposure across platforms such as Anaplan, OneStream, Workday Adaptive, Planful, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or similar tools would also be valuable.
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $350k–$400k total compensation + equity grant
