Our top client in the retail industry is searching for a Workday Benefits Analyst to join their team! This is not a traditional benefits administration role. We are seeking a Workday professional with strong technical and configuration expertise who understands how benefits function within Workday and can effectively support, optimize, troubleshoot, and enhance the platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Benefits, including benefit plan configuration, eligibility rules, open enrollment processes, and administering benefit offerings to eligible employees. This person should understand the full functionality of the Workday Benefits module and be able to configure, maintain, and support benefit plans and enrollment processes with minimal oversight.
While this position is 100% remote, we are only able to hire from the following states at this time: MO, IL, VA, CO, KS, TX, NC, GA, TN, FL, MI, OK, IN, SC
1+ year contract with benefits available on contract
**Cannot work C2C or 3rd party**
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship now or in the future (ie: H1B, OPT EAD, etc.)
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday Benefits experience
- Strong experience configuring and supporting the Workday Benefits module
- Experience managing eligibility rules, benefit plans, life events, and enrollment processes
- Experience testing Workday configurations and validating system functionality
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis
- Experience working with ticketing systems and managing support requests
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience partnering with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale Workday environments
- Experience supporting Open Enrollment initiatives
- Knowledge of Workday reporting and data analysis
- Familiarity with integrations impacting benefits administration
- Experience with workflow management or issue tracking tools such as Jira
- Prior experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations
