Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot Workday-to-benefits-provider integrations and exchanged data.
- Trace employee lifecycle, benefits, and payroll transactions end-to-end, including hires, transfers, job changes, compensation changes, payroll events, and terminations.
- Investigate discrepancies and determine root cause across data, configuration, integration logic, mapping, timing, processing, and provider-side systems.
- Review integration outputs, inbound/outbound files, messages, logs, reports, Workday transactions, and provider responses.
- Work with Benefits and Retirement SMEs to understand business rules, expected results, and business impact.
- Collaborate with Workday functional teams, developers, integration teams, vendors, and benefits providers to validate findings and implement corrective actions.
- Document root-cause analysis, findings, business rules, and recommended resolutions for both technical and business audiences.
- Distinguish true defects from behavior resulting from existing configurations or business rules.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data flow diagrams for employee, payroll, retirement, and benefits transactions.
