This position serves as the Workday Sr. Finance Business Analyst on the Finance/Procurement Workday Support Services team. Reporting to the Finance/Procurement Lead, this position will support various areas within Workday Finance based on project needs and priorities.
The Sr. Finance Business Analyst will complete hands-on functional and technical project activities and provide guidance to campus resources for the areas assigned to enhance. This position will demonstrate and explain key product features, document requirements and design, provide knowledge transfer to the campuses and peers, configure the corresponding functionality and assist in testing and support the roll-out. This position will also recommend solutions to System requirements, manage the design of cross-application solutions and escalate issues/risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
The educational equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
At least three years of experience working within the area of finance
Experience leading cross functional projects and complex initiatives
Must be able to work collaboratively and travel to campuses as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Proficient in multiple financial areas such as procurement, budgets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.
Significant experience assessing, revising, implementing and supporting business processes related to finance
Experience with change management related to large enterprise system deployments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong technical aptitude
Ability to adapt and learn quickly as priorities change
Knowledge of the process being transformed and an understanding of how the process/system integrates with other processes and initiatives
Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
Strong organizational and task management skills
Solid analytical skills

Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis
Ability to structure work efficiently
