Title: Principal Workday HCM Analyst
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 to 6 months Contract
Pay Rate: $70 to $75/h on W2
About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Workday HCM Analyst to serve as the senior Workday subject matter expert responsible for the configuration, administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the Workday platform. This is a highly hands-on individual contributor role with deep involvement in Workday HCM, business processes, security, reporting, data management, and system enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of HRIS experience with strong Workday HCM expertise
- Advanced Workday HCM configuration and administration
- Workday Business Process design and configuration
- Workday Security configuration and troubleshooting
- EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) and mass data loads
- Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reports, Calculated Fields, and Dashboards
- Experience with employee lifecycle transactions (hire, termination, transfer, promotions, compensation changes)
- Data audits, reconciliation, and data integrity management
- Workday releases, testing, and impact assessments
- Knowledge of supervisory organizations, positions, job profiles, and compensation structures
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience supporting HR, Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards teams
