About
SHRM-CP certified human resources and employee engagement professional with hands-on experience across recruitment, selection, onboarding, training coordination, team development, internal communication, and stakeholder engagement in higher education and public service settings. My work centers on building people-first systems that help organizations attract, develop, and retain strong talent.
As Student Talent Management and Engagement Coordinator at LSU's Manship School of Mass Communication, I lead a 30-member student ambassador team and manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement. These efforts have grown ambassador membership by 19%, earned a 4.38 out of 5 event satisfaction rating, and contributed to broader recruitment and retention goals. Previously, with the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, I strengthened internal communication and organizational messaging, improving the clarity, accessibility, and consistency of information shared with employees, program staff, community partners, and Louisiana residents.
With an MBA from Louisiana State University and a foundation in communications, program coordination, and stakeholder relations, I am now focused on transitioning into human resources, with a particular interest in talent acquisition, employee engagement and training and development. I am also a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management, which reflects my continued commitment to professional growth and engagement in the HR field. I am actively seeking opportunities in recruitment and talent development where I can help organizations identify, develop, and retain strong talent. I'm driven by the belief that thoughtful, people-centered systems are what allow employees and mission-driven organizations to thrive together.
