Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Onboarding Manager to lead our onboarding process and ensure a seamless transition for new hires into our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective onboarding programs that enhance employee engagement and retention. This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for talent acquisition, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Duties
- Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to various roles within the company.
- Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to streamline the hiring process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems such as Kronos, Taleo, and Workday to manage onboarding workflows effectively.
- Conduct orientation sessions for new employees, covering company policies, culture, and job-specific training.
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their initial weeks, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and employee progress in systems like Paychex.
- Research best practices in onboarding and talent acquisition to continuously improve processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems such as Kronos, Taleo, or Workday is highly desirable.
- Strong background in internal recruiting, technical recruiting, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Ability to conduct research on industry trends related to onboarding and employee engagement.
- Familiarity with contract management related to new hires is a plus.
