Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Functional Workday Implementation Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Workday modules, with a strong focus on HR processes, business requirements, and ensuring a seamless experience for end users. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements, design solutions, and configure Workday to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in implementing and optimizing Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) systems and delivering high-quality functional solutions within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the functional design, configuration, and testing of Workday modules including HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, Recruiting, and Benefits.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from key stakeholders and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Configure and implement Workday functionality to meet business needs while aligning with best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance) to ensure integrated solutions are built across systems.
- Provide Workday expertise during all phases of the implementation lifecycle: planning, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for business users, ensuring successful adoption and usage of Workday.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards during the configuration of Workday.
- Design and execute test scripts for system testing and validate results to ensure functional accuracy.
- Assist in data migration activities and data validation to ensure accurate data is loaded into Workday.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Workday HCM processes.
- Maintain and enhance Workday configurations post-go-live, ensuring continuous improvement and system optimization.
- Work closely with Workday technical teams to support integrations, report development, and custom configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM functional implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, etc.) and best practices.
- Experience in full-cycle Workday implementations, from requirements gathering through post-go-live support.
- Ability to map business processes and configure Workday to meet business needs and optimize HR operations.
- Proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics to provide insights and drive business decisions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience in Workday integrations and data migration from legacy systems to Workday is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex system issues.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with a customer-first mindset.
