A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in teletherapy within a K-12 school setting located in Kenner, LA. This contract role spans the current school year, providing essential teletherapy services to support students' communication development and academic progress.
Key responsibilities include:

Delivering telespeech and teletherapy services to K-12 students following individualized education plans.

Collaborating with educational staff to assess and address speech and language needs.

Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.

Utilizing technology effectively to engage students in remote therapeutic sessions.

Participating in planning meetings and in-service training as required.
Qualifications and experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

Active Louisiana state license and licensure in candidates state of residence.

ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) mandatory.

Minimum of three years experience practicing speech-language pathology in school settings.

Proven experience with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery.

Successful completion of a technology screening.

One professional reference relevant to school-based SLP services.
Work schedule is full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday aligned with the school calendar. Hours include seven-hour workdays with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
