Job Title: Workday Functional Specialist
Location/Work Schedule: Remote (must be able to work both EST & CST time zones)
Pay Range: $40-50/hour W2 (no C2C for this opportunity)
Short-Term Contract Length: 4-6 weeks (possible extension)
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services and insurance industry, is seeking a Workday Benefits + Retirement Functional Specialist/Analyst for a short-term assignment. This role focuses on troubleshooting Workday issues, supporting benefits and retirement processes, and managing special projects. The position is fully remote but requires working in both Eastern and Central time zones.
What's the Job?
- Troubleshoot Workday issues related to data integrations.
- Investigate and resolve ServiceNow tickets promptly.
- Support and run special benefits and retirement projects.
- Pull reports and perform audit reconciliations.
- Assist with 401(k) loan clean-up efforts.
- Collaborate with HR and benefits teams to ensure accuracy.
What's Needed?
- Workday experience (Required).
- 3–5 years of experience in HRIS systems, Workday HCM, and benefits administration.
- Retirement plan experience (Highly Preferred) or strong benefits background.
- Familiarity with HRIS/HR systems related to retirement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications such as Workday HCM Certification or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) are a plus.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
