Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience as a MMSSQL Server DBA.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Proven experience in database migrations from on-premises to cloud.
Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell scripting.
Experience with cloud-native database monitoring and management tools.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
Experience with other RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
