About The Role
The RealReal is looking for an experienced Sr. Benefits Analyst to join our Total Rewards team. This position is responsible for supporting and leading the development, implementation, ongoing administration and management of all employee health and welfare programs. It also serves as an advocate, partner and subject-matter expert to employees and business partners providing support, advice and guidance in employee health & wellness, retirement, well-being and absence management programs. This position is part of a team responsible for performing benefits administration for all U.S. and globally-located employees. What You Get To Do Everyday
- Ensure TRR benefit programs are in compliance with federal, state and local statutes and regulations
- Communicate, implement and facilitate employee benefit programs that attract and retain employees, ensuring that highly competitive and cost-effective programs are offered to employees and future hires
- Participate and support through creativity and innovation for all aspects of the annual renewal activities for all US-based employees
- Collaborate and engage with our consultants, vendors and 3rd party administrators on a weekly basis
- Review and provide feedback related to data analytics in the research of market trends, benefits survey and stay abreast of emerging benefit trends to maintain a competitive benefits portfolio
- Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends; support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliation
- Maintain accurate documentation, policies, and procedures related to benefits administration
- Serve as an escalation point for complex benefits issues and employee inquiries
- Develop employee-facing benefits communications and education
- Support benefits systems, audits, and process improvements
- Lead or support cross-functional projects related to benefits, wellness, or total rewards
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of benefits or total rewards experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance and regulations
- Advanced Excel and HRIS experience (e.g., Workday)
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience supporting multi-state or distributed employee populations
- Retail, technology, or high-growth company experience.

The expected salary range for this role is $100,000.00-$125,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
