The Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring products and manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The role involves developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Quality Standards
- Establish, communicate, and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define quality standards for products and processes.
Audit and Compliance
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
- Identify areas of non-compliance and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
Quality Control
- Implement and manage a robust quality control system to monitor production processes and product outputs.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement preventive measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to integrate quality assurance into all aspects of the business.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality assurance activities.
- Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key quality metrics and areas for improvement.
Environmental Monitoring
- Conduct routine inspections of the production facility to ensure cleanliness and environmental conditions do not negatively impact product quality.
- Verify that sanitation, housekeeping, and environmental standards are consistently maintained.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Quality Management, Engineering, etc.).
- Proven experience in a quality assurance role, with a track record of implementing successful quality programs.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
- Experience in conducting audits and managing regulatory compliance.

Work Environment
- The Quality Assurance position requires regular movement within the production and warehouse facilities.
- The employee must be able to walk throughout the facility and use stairs multiple times per day in order to perform quality checks and environmental monitoring.
- The work involves being present on the production floor 2–3 times daily to observe operations, inspect conditions, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- While the primary duties are performed in an office setting, frequent transition between office and production areas is required.
Physical Demands
- The employee must be able to walk, stand, bend, and climb stairs multiple times per day in order to perform routine quality inspections and environmental monitoring, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have the physical ability to move safely around production equipment and within warehouse environments.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally may be required for inspection or sampling purposes.
- Clear vision and attention to detail are essential for identifying quality issues during inspections.
- The role requires sufficient stamina to perform routine inspections and environmental monitoring throughout the workday.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Schedule: 40–50 hours per week, based on operational needs
