CNG has an immediate opening for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Occasional weekends may be required during peak periods.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment to ship domestic and international packages via USPS, FedEx, and DHL
- Pack items securely to ensure safe delivery
- Prepare required documentation for international shipments
- Ensure shipments are sent in a timely manner by being organized and working efficiently
- Address any domestic and international shipment issues, and work with customer and carriers to solve the problem
- Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding invoices, payments, and shipping matters
- Pick and pack items based on invoices for shipment
- Review and proof invoices
- Restock shipping supplies as needed
- File invoices from bi-weekly sales when required
- Prepare coins for shipment by placing them into protective holders (coin flips)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with numbers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Driver’s license is required – having own vehicle is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds when needed
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday
