At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
We are looking for a finance and operations professional to help us scale our operations and elevate how we run source-to-pay at Netflix. The Finance Procurement Operations (FPO) team supports Netflix’s Source-to-Pay processes - how we source, procure, and pay our partners around the world. Within FPO, the Strategic Operations team is a strategic thought partner to leaders; we drive alignment across FPO, project-manage big cross-functional bets, drive impact and results, and help prioritize the FinTech and engineering work that powers our operations.
We’re looking for a Program Analyst to help us scale how we work.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a solid understanding of the S2P workflow, experience in project management, a process-innovation mindset, and a passion for developing strong cross-functional relationships. This position will be based in our Los Angeles office and report to the Strategic Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Program Leads and FPO leadership to support programs and strategies that improve our global operations.
- Help define how we measure success for key programs: baselines, targets, and impact
- Support FPO strategies and programs by providing project management support
- Manage project plans, timelines, status updates, and escalations/risk to ensure everyone is aligned and the project is on track
- Drive follow-through on decisions and action items with stakeholders across time zones.
- Use data and process insight to identify what’s working, what’s not, and where we should focus.
- FinTech / Systems Prioritization Support:
- Help translate operational needs into clear requirements and input to engineering and product teams (e.g., Workday Financials, workflow tools, support tools).
- Review FPO-driven FinTech projects and perform prioritization and impact analysis to determine what Engineering works on
- Support UAT and rollout for new features or tools, and help track adoption and impact.
- Support change management: communications, training materials, FAQs, and light enablement for process or tool changes.
Qualities We’re Looking For
- 3-6 years of experience in Operational Finance, Finance/Procurement Operations, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, or Program/Project Management
- Familiarity with S2P workflows (requisitions, POs, invoices, payments, vendor setup/management) is a plus.
- You’re analytically minded - comfortable working with data (Excel/Sheets, basic BI tools), spotting patterns, and turning numbers into insight.
- You’re a structured problem-solver who can bring order to ambiguity and break big problems into manageable pieces.
- You’re organized and able to juggle multiple workstreams without dropping details.
- You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and you’re comfortable drafting concise decks and memos for different audiences.
- You enjoy understanding how things actually work end-to-end, and you’re motivated to make them better.
- You build strong relationships and are effective in a cross-matrixed, global environment.
- Experience with tools like Workday Financials, SmartSheets, Tableau, Freshdesk, or AI solutions is a plus, but not a requirement. You learn new tools quickly.
