This contract role is located in Pleasanton, CA with a hybrid onsite expectations.
Senior Business Analyst to lead transformation across Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Plan-to-Report (P2R) in a fast-growing, complex global environment. This role focuses on Workday Financials (Spend & Accounting), deep reconciliation processes, and end-to-end procurement operations including supplier lifecycle and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end S2P and P2R initiatives including procurement, invoicing, financial close, and reporting
- Drive implementation and optimization of Workday Spend Management and Accounting Center
- Own line-level PO and non-PO processes, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and downstream accounting impact
- Manage and improve supplier data governance and supplier lifecycle processes (onboarding, maintenance, compliance)
- Optimize supplier management practices including performance, risk, and data quality
- Lead global e-invoicing implementations and ensure compliance with regional regulations
- Drive reconciliation improvements (GL, subledger, intercompany, bank) with focus on automation and audit readiness
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, Tax, and Treasury to standardize and scale processes
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and support system delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Plan-to-Report (P2R)
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials (Spend Management & Accounting Center)
- Strong experience with line-level PO and non-PO invoice processing and controls
- Proven expertise in supplier data management and supplier lifecycle processes
- Heavy experience in reconciliations (GL, subledger, intercompany, bank) in complex environments
- Experience implementing S2P systems and global e-invoicing solutions
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial close, and internal controls
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in fast-growing organizations
