Job Title: Sr. Solutions Architect (Workday Compensation, Talent and Performance) Location: Sunnyvale, California Type: 6+ months contract Compensation: $105.00/hr W2 Contractor Work Model: Remote - OFFSITE Overview Seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Workday to support, enhance, and scale our global HR systems. This role focuses on designing and delivering effective, user-centered solutions in Workday As a trusted partner to stakeholders across HR, IT, and the business, you'll drive improvements in workflows, employee data management, reporting, and system automation. You will serve as a key contributor to Workday roadmap initiatives, guiding both strategic projects and day-to-day system operations. Responsibilities + Serve as the owner of the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Workday Talent, Performance, and Compensation, ensuring alignment with HR strategy and overall business priorities + Collaborate with HR leaders to convert program goals and guiding principles into effective, scalable system solutions across Workday Compensation and Talent/Performance modules + Assess new Workday functionality and complementary tools, providing recommendations driven by long term value, scalability, and employee experience + Drive end to end product delivery, from discovery and requirements definition through solution design, configuration, testing, launch, and continuous optimization + Assess current systems and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the people reporting + Build and execute detailed implementation plans including discovery, design, QA/test, deploy and support leveraging agile methodologies. Develop detailed test plans, test scripts, and execute testing to deliver a thorough, bug free reporting solution + Ensure product in development matches the specified requirements by being the key point of liaison for all involved teams + Manage Workday releases and upgrades by performing thorough testing and validating reporting functionality + Responsible for identifying risks during product development as well as developing mitigation efforts to address data quality, as needed + Partner with IT to ensure system and data compliance with data security and privacy requirements + Provide on-going feedback to teams and peers across organizations and teams in order to help drive product adoption + Support technical troubleshooting and issues with vendors and technology partners + Collaborate with our internal employee support teams and project management teams on process documentation, communication and training + Partner with Finance and IT to provide documentation for internal and SOX control Requirements + Minimum 12+ years of experience with proven results in developing business requirements, deploying applicable technologies and business process re-engineering + Minimum 10 years hands-on Workday configuration experience, including business processes, condition rules, custom fields, and security + Minimum 4+ years developing and coaching technical or operational teams. May be required to supervise other analysts + Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including senior leadership Proven track record in managing at least one full-cycle Workday Advance Compensation, Talent and performance Review Program for a global company + Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or related technical fields, or relevant experience + Experience with other technology such as AI for HR, content/knowledge and case management (preferred) + Experience with Product development in the HR technology space or custom application development (preferred) + Solid experience in Scrum or similar Agile development methodology (preferred) + Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity (preferred) + Management consulting experience (preferred) + Recent HR technology full life cycle implementation (preferred) + Process orientation and project management skills, experience with multiple project methodologies including Agile / iterative development (preferred) + Workday Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred) + The ability to influence without positional power (preferred) Familiarity with US and Global data privacy laws, GDPR and Sarbanes Oxley compliance (preferred) + Strong customer orientation and superb communication skills, with ability to communicate clearly with both technical and functional audiences (preferred) + Experience with global / international company with employee populations across Americas, Europe, and Asia (preferred) System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
