We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Lean Six Sigma, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure successful project execution throughout the entire project management lifecycle.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet.
- Lead project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure while applying best practices from PMBOK and other industry standards.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform detailed requirements analysis to align project objectives with business needs.
- Manage project scope changes through effective change management processes and negotiate scope adjustments with stakeholders.
- Conduct risk management activities by identifying potential issues early through root cause analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee program development and program management activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize project management software like Jira, Trello, Confluence, Workday, or ServiceNow for task tracking and collaboration.
- Lead team management efforts by supervising project teams, fostering collaboration using tools like Basecamp or SharePoint, and promoting continuous improvement via Kaizen initiatives.
- Monitor project progress through earned value management techniques and ensure quality management standards are maintained.
- Facilitate meetings effectively to communicate project status updates and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to support project delivery while controlling costs through effective budget oversight.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising teams and managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, Kanban, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Expertise in program development, program design, process mapping, business process modeling, and requirements management.
- Proficiency with a variety of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Jira, Trello, Confluence, Workday or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team leadership.
- Experience in risk assessment techniques like root cause analysis and risk management strategies.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards through quality management practices.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure projects is a plus along with familiarity in ERP systems or product lifecycle management systems.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP®, PgMP®, or PMI-ACP® are preferred but not required.
