Job Description

Experience in Workday Financials, Payroll, integrations, and cross-application support.

Key Requirements:

Strong Workday functional or technical expertise
Preference for certified consultants where applicable
Public sector or municipal experience is highly preferred

• Strategic Sourcing Essentials (SKU: SRCESS)

• Charging Labor and Overhead to Capital Projects
• Prism for data warehouse
• Asset Management
• Optimize functionality of currently implemented functions
• Potentially moving the travel process from a customized Workday solution to the standard
• The City is currently working through a tenant review and prioritizing results and using any Agents
Tenants
• Production
• Sandbox
• Preview
• COG1 – used for longer term configuration and testing
III. Required Service. The Consultant shall provide the following support services:
1. Business process support
a. Workflow optimization and troubleshooting
b. Configure or change business processes in functional areas
c. Knowledge of functional interdependencies
d. Knowledge of industry best practices
2. Report writing support
a. Create and modify reports
b. Assist City Systems Analysts on report writing
c. Advanced knowledge with BIRTS, calculated fields, etc.
3. Integration and cross application support
a. Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) – about 200
b. Adaptive integration with Workday Planning
c. Integration with other financial systems - 20
4. Security support
a. General directions on configuring security profiles
b. Assistance setting up specific permissions profiles.
5. Release management assistance
a. Possible implementation of automated testing tools
b. Assistance evaluating new functionality in Workday releases
6. Report Writing support
a. Create and modify reports in Workday and Office Connect
