Key Responsibilities
Workday HCM
- Serve as the SME for core Workday HCM functions including:
- Core HR
- Compensation
- Talent & Performance
- Absence & Time Tracking
- Security & Business Process Framework
- Lead configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation for HCM enhancements.
- Partner with HR leadership to define system strategy, roadmap, and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; drive root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
Workday Financials PSA
- Own system configuration and support for Workday PSA, including:
- Resource management
- Project creation & lifecycle
- Project staffing/assignments
- Time & expense integration
- PSA Financials tie-ins (billing, revenue, costing)
- Work closely with Finance and Professional Services teams to optimize project workflows.
- Ensure Workday PSA data integrity, streamline processes, and support analytics/reporting.
Cross-Functional & Technical
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Develop advanced reports (composite, matrix, dashboards), calculated fields, and analytics.
- Support Workday release management and regression testing cycles.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance policies.
- Provide user training and create knowledge materials as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of direct Workday HCM configuration and support experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in Workday PSA and Workday Financials integration points.
- Strong understanding of project-based organizations and professional services workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and EIBs.
- Ability to lead functional design, testing cycles, and end?to?end implementations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence non?technical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Workday Pro or Workday Certification(s) in HCM and/or PSA.
- Experience with Workday Extend, Prism, or additional Workday Financials modules.
- Background in data governance, HR operations, or professional services operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
