Workday Senior HRIS Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2 days onsite weekly)

TalentFish is seeking a highly skilled Workday Senior HRIS Analyst to join a growing Chicago-based organization. This individual will serve as the primary Workday subject matter expert, driving configuration, reporting, optimization, and process improvements across key HR functional areas.

What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration and support experience across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent.
- Strong experience developing advanced reports, matrix reports, calculated fields, and dashboards within Workday.
- Deep understanding of HR operations, HR data structures, and Workday best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting enterprise HR processes and system enhancements in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday Pro certifications are strongly preferred.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the lead administrator and subject matter expert for Workday across multiple HR modules.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, security roles, notifications, and system functionality.
- Build and maintain advanced reporting solutions, dashboards, and calculated fields to support HR and business initiatives.
- Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable system solutions.
- Lead annual Workday processes including Open Enrollment, Merit and Compensation cycles, and Performance Management activities.
- Ensure strong data integrity through audits, security administration, and mass data management activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency through automation and system enhancements.
- Support ongoing system upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
