Position Summary
Flowfold is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in producing high-quality gear, and can work effectively in both collaborative and independent settings.
Some sewing experience is required, either personally or professionally. The right candidate will be reliable, willing to learn, and committed to producing consistent, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Sew components and finished products according to established specifications and quality standards
- Participate in full product assembly, including construction of Flowfold soft goods from start to finish
- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Identify and communicate quality concerns, material issues, or equipment problems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Support lean manufacturing practices, including organization, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications
- Full-time availability, 40 hours per week
- Some sewing experience required, either personal or professional
- Textile, production, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Accountability and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and established production standards
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to sit, stand, use hands for detailed work, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $18–$19 per hour, negotiable based on experience
