Senior Workday Application Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX (100% Onsite)

Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Developer to support the design, development, integration, configuration, and optimization of an enterprise Workday platform.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Integrations, along with experience supporting Recruiting, Security, and Core HCM. Integration experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Integrations (Primary Focus)
- Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations between Workday and internal/external systems.
- Build and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Web Services.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, data mapping challenges, and system connectivity problems.
- Ensure integration reliability, scalability, and performance within enterprise environments.
- Support integrations between Workday Recruiting and third-party platforms.
Workday Configuration & Development
- Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Security, Benefits, Payroll, and Compensation modules.
- Support Workday Business Process Framework configuration and optimization.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Support analytics and data modeling
- Deliver reporting solutions that support HR, Finance, and business operations.
Security & Compliance
- Configure and maintain the Workday Security Framework.
- Manage role-based security, access controls, and governance processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as a Workday technical subject matter expert.
- Partner with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders on solution design and implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience.
- Strong Workday Integrations experience (mandatory).
- Expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and Web Services.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting, Security, and Core HCM.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Business Process Framework.
- Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Extend.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise Workday environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certifications in Integrations, HCM, Studio, Reporting, or related modules.
- Experience integrating Workday Recruiting with third-party recruiting or conversational AI platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale or global Workday implementations.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, or team guidance experience.
Priority Skills
Candidates with deep expertise in Workday Integrations will be given strong preference. Additional experience in Recruiting, Security, and Core HCM is highly desirable.
