Job Title: Workday Advanced Compensation & HCM Solutions Manager
Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid/Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (Flexibility to support India team)
Pay Rate: $90/hr - $95/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Advanced Compensation & HCM Solutions Manager to support Workday Advanced Compensation initiatives and other Workday HCM projects, including Core HCM, Performance Management, Security, Reporting, and Gem implementation. The role will partner closely with IT to gather business requirements, lead UAT, perform data audits, and drive successful Workday project delivery. The ideal candidate will have an AI-first mindset and leverage AI tools to automate testing, documentation, and workflow improvements.
Must-Have Skills
- 8–10+ years of HRIS/HCM experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation (required).
- Strong experience with Workday Core HCM, Performance Management, Security, and Reporting.
- Experience gathering business requirements, functional design, UAT planning, testing, and documentation.
- Strong data auditing and reporting skills using Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to automate workflows, testing, or documentation.
- Experience with Jira and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Gem (preferred) or other ATS/Talent Acquisition platforms.
- Experience supporting HR technology implementations and enhancements.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
