A mission-driven education organization is seeking a Senior Workday HCM Analyst to support Workday configuration, reporting, and ongoing functional enhancements across multiple modules. This hybrid opportunity is ideal for a senior-level analyst who can partner with HR and business stakeholders, solve issues, and help maintain strong system documentation and controls.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (onsite mandatory on Tues, Wed, & Thurs)
Responsibilities:
- Lead configuration efforts for new and existing Workday functionality to support employee and HR needs
- Partner with functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Document system configurations, functional specifications, test plans, and test cases
- Support issue resolution across end-user, workflow, and security-related matters
- Provide reporting, analytics support, and regression testing for releases and enhancements
- Maintain accurate documentation to support audit controls and compliance practices
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Workday business processes, reporting, and/or configuration
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM
- Experience in at least one additional Workday functional area such as Benefits, Recruiting, Leave Management, Compensation, or Talent
- Experience creating requirements documents, configuration documentation, and test plans
- Solid project management skills
- Experience using complex systems to mine data sources and identify trends

- Workday report writing and dashboard experience
- Experience with Workday Security
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience creating evaluation tools and analytics deliverables
- Prior experience supporting Time Tracking, Time Off, and Benefits
