Workday Systems Supervisor – Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential extension or conversion)

Location: Remote (must be open to occasional onsite milestone meetings)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking Workday Systems Supervisor specializing in Talent Acquisition and Onboarding to lead and support Workday Recruiting and Onboarding operations. This role combines team leadership with hands-on Workday expertise, including system configuration, production support, enhancements, and process improvements.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can mentor a team while partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, and technology stakeholders to optimize Workday functionality and improve recruiter, hiring manager, candidate, and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Workday analysts focused on Recruiting and Onboarding.
- Oversee daily production support, issue resolution, enhancements, and system improvements.
- Serve as the functional expert for Workday Recruiting and Onboarding, including:
- Requisition Management
- Candidate Lifecycle Management
- Job Postings
- Interview Scheduling
- Offer Management
- Workday Onboarding
- Configure and maintain Workday functionality while ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Recruiting Operations, HR Technology, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions.
- Support Workday quarterly releases, including impact assessments, testing, and deployments.
- Develop and maintain documentation, testing materials, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and increased user adoption.
- Collaborate with Workday Reporting, Security, Integrations, and Core HCM teams on enterprise solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on Workday experience supporting Recruiting and Onboarding in a post-production environment.
- 1–2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or supervising Workday or HRIS professionals.

- Experience supporting recruiting integrations, job boards, candidate data feeds, or third-party recruiting technologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
