Workday HCM Functional Analyst

Pay Range:$70.00 - $90.00per hr / Salary Target: $140K - $170K
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Workday HCM Functional Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise Workday transformation. This individual will play a key role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Workday HCM across multiple operating organizations while helping establish standardized business processes and scalable Workday solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on functional expert who enjoys partnering with HR and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Workday capabilities within a rapidly growing enterprise environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of functional Workday HCM experience supporting enterprise implementations and production environments.
- Deep expertise in Core HCM, business processes, security, organizations, supervisory structures, and tenant configuration.
- Experience participating in multiple end-to-end Workday implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Workday best practices and the ability to recommend standardized solutions across multiple business units.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday configurations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex functional issues.
- Excellent communication skills with experience partnering directly with HR, IT, and executive stakeholders.
Preferred / Desired Experience
- Experience supporting large, multi-company or multi-tenant Workday environments.
- Additional functional expertise in Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Payroll, or Benefits.
- Workday Pro or Workday certifications.
- Experience working alongside implementation partners while transitioning ownership to internal support teams.
- Understanding of Workday release management, testing strategy, and production support.
- Experience creating governance standards and functional documentation.
- Previous experience in fast-growing enterprise organizations undergoing digital transformation.
