Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant for an urgent remote engagement supporting a client based in Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management, finance business processes, functional configuration, requirements gathering, testing, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Accounting stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into Workday Finance functional solutions.
- Configure and support Workday Financial Management modules.
- Analyze and optimize finance business processes.
- Support functional design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Configure and troubleshoot Workday business processes.
- Develop functional specifications and configuration documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with technical, integration, reporting, security, and business teams.
- Support Workday integrations from a functional perspective.
- Investigate production issues and coordinate resolution.
- Support Workday releases, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare process documentation, test scripts, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide project updates.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management / Workday Finance.
- Experience as a Workday Finance Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.
- Experience with Workday functional configuration and business processes.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and process documentation.
- Strong experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
