Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our HR department, supporting a wide range of human resources functions that drive organizational success. You will collaborate across teams to implement HR initiatives, manage employee records, and support talent management strategies that promote growth and engagement.
Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Support employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly into the organization.
- Maintain and update employee records using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Contribute to performance management initiatives by helping organize employee evaluations, training & development sessions, and succession planning activities.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and compliance with regulatory requirements like FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and workers' compensation policies.
- Support compliance efforts by assisting with affirmative action planning, employment law adherence, OSHA regulations, and HR legal compliance documentation.
- Engage in project management tasks related to HR initiatives such as organization design, workforce management strategies, and change management processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an HR department role with familiarity in human capital management systems such as Oracle HCM or UltiPro.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks governing workplace practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis preferred), HR systems (e.g., Kronos, Dayforce), and applicant tracking tools like iCIMS or Lever.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with payroll processing, personnel administration, and benefits administration is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment; experience in conflict management and employee relations is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week
