Workday HRIS Analyst – Houston, TX
5 Days On-Site | Direct Hire
We’re working with a growing organization that is looking to add a Workday HRIS Analyst to its HR Technology team.
This is a great opportunity for a Workday professional with hands-on experience supporting and developing Workday environments who enjoys working across system support, configuration, testing, reporting and data management, while continuing to build their technical skill set.
You’ll work closely with HR, Payroll and business stakeholders to ensure the Workday environment is running effectively, while supporting enhancements and ongoing system improvements.
What you’ll be doing:
• Support and maintain Workday HCM, Payroll and Time Tracking
• Monitor system alerts, integration issues and business process exceptions
• Troubleshoot Workday issues and provide support to HR and business users
• Perform functional and regression testing for Workday releases and system enhancements
• Build, load and validate EIBs and support large-scale data changes
• Perform Workday configuration updates and business process changes
• Support organizational changes including supervisory organizations, job profiles, compensation and absence/time off
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards and calculated fields
• Support Workday’s bi-annual release cycles and ongoing system enhancements
• Partner with HR, Payroll and technical teams to improve processes and data integrity
• Maintain clear documentation around configuration, testing and system changes
What we’re looking for:
• Several years of hands-on Workday experience
• Strong experience with Workday HCM, with exposure to Payroll and/or Time Tracking
• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and business processes
• Experience building and loading EIBs
• Experience with Workday testing, UAT and release management
• Strong reporting experience, including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports and/or Calculated Fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
• Workday Pro certification
• Experience with BIRT, Report Writer or Workday Studio
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working within a large, multi-location organization
