Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive People Support Specialist to join our HR Operations team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for handling employee support cases and complex HR processes, with a strong focus on operational excellence and the continuous improvement of our core HR systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our HR processes, collaborating closely with HR Partners and Centers of Excellence to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for Tier 2 Workday escalations, troubleshooting complex issues and providing timely, effective solutions to stakeholders via the case management solution
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, new configurations, and major Workday releases to ensure flawless functionality
- Manage key operational processes and enhance employee self-service (Tier 0) resources to improve efficiency and overall user experience
- Partner closely with HR Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to understand business needs, gather feedback, and ensure systems are aligned with organizational objectives
- Take ownership of data integrity by managing processes such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) data loads with a high degree of precision
- Maintain deep knowledge of Workday policies, talent practices, HR programs, and systems
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all work and information in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Leverage modern AI tools to enhance and streamline HR processes
Skills
- Hands-on expertise with Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot system issues independently and learn complex processes quickly
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships across HR functional teams and operations
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to involve the right stakeholders at the appropriate time
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Aptitude for and willingness to work with modern AI tools to drive process improvements
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or a related field
- 4+ years of proven experience in a customer service or HR generalist role
- Demonstrated experience with Workday, User Acceptance Testing, and EIB data loads
- Proven track record of testing system enhancements and troubleshooting issues independently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Workday certification or equivalent formal training is a plus
