Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated CNC Lathe Programmer and Manufacturing Analyst to design and execute high-level manufacturing strategies. You will focus on precision aerospace components, utilizing cutting-edge software and machinery. This position is ideal for a programming expert who specializes in lathe operations, including mill-turn and 2-axis tasks involving challenging alloys and strict tolerances.
Core Responsibilities

Develop and refine NC programs using Siemens NX to support complex machining on 2-axis lathes, mill-turn equipment, and additional CNC machinery.

Ensure program integrity by validating NC code through virtual machine simulation.

Improve production efficiency by conducting hands-on program validation and optimization directly at the machine.

Partner with design engineering teams to enhance part manufacturability and design quality.

Support the successful launch of new production lines by assisting with equipment installation and runoff.

Document standardized work instructions to help maintain consistent manufacturing processes.

Complete additional tasks as necessary to support the production team.
Required Qualifications

Completion of a high school diploma or GED.

Three to five years of professional NC programming background using CAM systems, specifically emphasizing lathe work.

Strong command of 3D CAD software, including a comprehensive grasp of CAD principles and GD&T standards.

Solid knowledge of selecting appropriate cutting tools, gaging methods, and work-holding strategies to ensure high-quality output.

Proven ability to draft clear and accurate process-related work instructions.

Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite.

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, as this role requires the potential to secure a U.S. Government Security Clearance; candidates must be eligible to undergo a government security investigation for access to classified data.
