SQA Group's client is looking for a Principal Workday HCM Analyst to join an engagement in the Greater Boston area.
About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and enhancing Workday HCM. The work includes Business Process configuration (condition rules, validations, approvals, routing, notifications), security administration (security groups, domain and Business Process security, role-based access), EIBs and mass employee transactions (hires, terminations, job, organization, and compensation changes), advanced reporting (Advanced and Matrix Reports, calculated fields, dashboards, alerts), data auditing and reconciliation, and release testing and impact assessment. The analyst will partner directly with HR, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
Responsibilities
- Configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and enhancing Workday HCM.
- Business Process configuration (condition rules, validations, approvals, routing, notifications).
- Security administration (security groups, domain and Business Process security, role-based access).
- EIBs and mass employee transactions (hires, terminations, job, organization, and compensation changes).
- Advanced reporting (Advanced and Matrix Reports, calculated fields, dashboards, alerts).
- Data auditing and reconciliation.
- Release testing and impact assessment.
- Partnering directly with HR, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of significant HRIS experience with hands-on Workday HCM. The candidate personally configures, administers, and troubleshoots Workday today.
Required Skills
- Workday Core HCM: supervisory organizations, positions, job profiles, and compensation structures.
- Business Process configuration: condition rules, validations, approval workflows, routing, and notifications.
- Workday security: security groups, domain security, Business Process security, and role-based access.
- EIBs and high-volume data loads for mass employee transactions (hires, terminations, job, organizational, and compensation changes).
- Advanced reporting: Advanced and Matrix Reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and alerts.
- Data auditing, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of Workday configuration and data issues.
- Workday release testing and impact assessments.
- Able to be onsite 3 to 5 days per week in the Greater Boston area.
- Works directly with HR, Total Rewards, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
