The State Accounting Office (SAO) is seeking an experienced
Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party applications or other state agencies.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Workday integrations across
HCM and Financials, with expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and web services.
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations.
- Build integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations with third-party applications and external systems.
- Support integrations across Workday HCM, Finance, and Procurement modules.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Configure and maintain integration workflows and business processes.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing production support.
- Work with data transformation technologies to ensure accurate data exchange.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow data security and governance standards.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and integration enhancements.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Integration Development.
- Strong experience developing integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.
- Experience working with both Workday HCM and Financials integrations.
- Strong understanding of SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services.
- Experience with Workday integration security and data protection.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
