Job Title: Recruiter (Full-Desk Track)

Compensation: $120,000 OTE (Commissions with Draw, No Caps)

The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, intelligent recruiter to join our team with the vision of developing into a full-desk recruiter. In this role, you will initially focus on candidate sourcing and inbound recruiting needs to help us manage the flow of inbound work that we have in the pipeline. Over time, you’ll grow into a full-desk recruiter, developing client relationships and bringing in new business. You'll be working directly with the Founder and Managing Partner, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the success of a small, driven, and energetic team. You’ll also be working with a team that values camaraderie, friendship, and not taking ourselves too seriously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and engage top-tier legal and compliance professionals for our clients in the investment management space through cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn messaging, and texting.
- Meet and screen prospective candidates through interviewing to assess their fit for specific opportunities and understand their career goals.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with candidates, ensuring a high-touch, professional experience.
- Help manage inbound search requests and support client mandates by identifying, engaging, and evaluating candidates.
- Prep and debrief candidates before and after interviews.
- Build your own book of clients with Cardea support and grow into managing searches end-to-end.
- Proactively develop new business leads through cold-calling and relationship-building.
- Work collaboratively with our internal resources, leveraging our firm’s strengths to deliver results.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 1-3 years of experience in a recruiting firm; prior experience in legal or financial recruiting is a plus.
- High EQ, with track record of success in building relationships.
- A self-starter with a competitive edge and dedication to working the process.
- Collaborative and energetic, thriving in a flexible, hybrid office environment. Excited about working at least 3 days/week from our office in Midtown NYC with additional flexibility in the summers.
