Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Grand Rapids, MI that is seeking a Workday Principal Consultant. Responsibilities:
- Lead Workday Finance configuration and data onboarding efforts
- Cleanse and map legacy financial data into Workday templates, ensuring alignment with FDM standards
- Define ETL strategy, validation protocols, and reconciliation methods
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders and internal teams to streamline onboarding cadence
- Troubleshoot errors and build scalable, repeatable solutions
- Guide teams through hypercare, training, and go-live support
- Contribute to future-state design focused on scalability, compliance, and FDM consistency
Requirements
- 5+ years of Workday Financials configuration and integration experience (AP/AR, Fixed Asset Management, Reporting)
- Deep knowledge of AP, Fixed Assets, Reporting, and GL
- Proven experience with Workday's Financial Data Model (FDM) and its impact on accounting and reporting
- Hands-on experience with onboarding in M&A or multi-entity environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise data migration and ETL best practices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
