Job Description
The APP Credentialing Coordinator Initiates and maintains the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) supervisory or collaborative agreements according to state and hospital regulations.
Location: Remote
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Facilitate completion and submission of state, hospital & USACS required applications and supervision agreements for Advanced Practice Providers

Follow up and maintain effective communication with state medical and nursing boards, clinicians, and the Credentialing department to ensure all necessary information is gathered and processed within specific deadlines.

Prepare Site/State specific written supervision and collaborative agreements and retain copies of completion, submission and/or original documentation.

Initiate and track annual evaluations according to specific state mandated reviews.

Function as a liaison between Credentialing, Compliance, Clinical Leaders & APP to escalate issues.

Maintain processes to monitor state mandated documentation by analyzing practices, procedures and regulations, utilization of internal and external resources.

Maintains APP Supervision Tracking System for initial and ongoing workflow.

Completes daily credentialing onboarding process for all new APP clinicians and physicians.

Facilitates all supervision terms to ensure state medical boards and systems are properly updated.

Facilitates all supervision changes, including mass updates for Medical Director changes and coordinates with Credentialing Team to ensure alignment for hospital credentialing.

Conduct scheduled data/document audits for credentialing and compliance.

Partner with the Credentialing Specialist to ensure new site startup supervision is appropriately established and manage all supervision agreements for site terms.

Provides data and document support if necessary.

Knowledge and skills in using personal computers (Windows) with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Office Programs- Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Knowledge and understanding of a broad scope of functions within the medical licensing/compliance industry, with specific emphasis on state board regulations.

Ability to identify and communicate emerging issues to management.

Ability to exhibit a commitment to teamwork, supporting alignment with company and department goals and objectives, assisting others to develop their knowledge of the company and process, adapting to change in a positive manner, and working proactively with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree in business or healthcare, or 2 years of experience with credentialing, state medical board regulations, and/or other healthcare compliance experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds.

Required to have close visual acuity to perform the job.
Hourly Rate: $18.76 - $34.70
Hourly rate may be determined on several factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, education, geographical location and requirements stated in job description.
