Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in project management with Texas Health and Human Services Programs and Home Health Care Agencies. This role requires effective communication, strategic planning, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives from inception to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Gather and document requirements from stakeholders to define project scope.
- Utilize project management software such as Smartsheet and Basecamp to track progress and facilitate collaboration.
- Develop quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet organizational standards.
- Employ Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Create visual representations of project workflows using tools like Visio.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and upper management regarding project status and updates.
- Provide leadership in problem-solving efforts during project execution.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Workday for managing resources and tracking project performance.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles for process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to gather requirements efficiently from various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Visio for creating process maps and diagrams.
- Competence in using Basecamp for team collaboration and task management.
- Knowledge of quality management practices to ensure high standards in deliverables.
- Proven project leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams toward common goals.
- Experience with various project management software tools, particularly Smartsheet.
