About the Opportunity:
Our client, a dynamic organization based in New Jersey, has an immediate need for a Workday Expert Consultant to provide intensive short-term support to a member of their accounting team. This is a remote, 1099 contractor role ideal for a seasoned Workday professional who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one Workday training and support to an accounting team member unfamiliar with the platform.
- Troubleshoot real-time issues and guide the end-user through Workday's accounting and financial management modules.
- Translate complex Workday functions into accessible, user-friendly guidance.
- Offer expert recommendations on best practices within Workday, tailored to the team’s workflows.
- Remain available on an ad hoc/on-call basis after the initial 2–4 week engagement to address follow-up questions or issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven expertise in Workday with a strong understanding of its accounting/finance modules.
- Prior consulting or training experience, especially with one-on-one coaching.
- Ability to break down complex system workflows into digestible steps for non-expert users.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a short-term, high-impact consulting engagement.
Additional Information:
- The initial engagement will require full-time availability for 2–4 weeks.
- Following the initial project, the role will shift to ad hoc/on-call support.
