Job Description
The Analyst, HR Operations supports the overall operations of the HR team by managing processes, supporting recordkeeping, and managing compliance. Reporting to the VP, HR Operations, the Analyst, will also provide day-to-day support to HRIS, payroll, compensation, and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Input, update, and manage employee data in HRIS systems ensuring consistency across databases and audit pending business processes and workflows
- Support the maintenance and optimization of HRIS software to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance
- Generate HR reporting, including workforce demographics, turnover, and benefits utilization for management decision-making
- Manage I-9 compliance and visa management process in partnership with employee employment legal team
- Manage document management system, including employee files, ensuring compliance and retention policies are met
- Manage compliance postings in all offices and ensure company policies are updated in employee facing systems
- Identify inefficiencies within HR processes and propose improvements
- Provide training and support to HR staff and employees in HR systems usage, troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Ensure internal systems comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, conducting regular audits to verify data integrity
- Support Sr. Manager, Payroll and Sr. Manager, Benefits with Workday and other payroll/benefit systems maintenance, audits, data entry, and ad hoc projects
- Support Compensation in ensuring job profiles, including job leveling and job description library, are updated
- Support management of Ask HR inbox to research and answer employee questions
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of progressive experience in the HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Generalist role
- Experience providing HR support in a corporate office environment
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of CA, CO, and NY employment laws and compliance
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data analytics to influence decision-making
- Proficient in time management and ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Possess high level of curiosity and strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate with employees at all levels
