Sr. Certified Workday Payroll Consultant (MUST BE CERTIFIED)
Okorio is seeking a Sr. Certified Workday Payroll Consultant to join our team.
We are looking for a expert with a proven track record of success in implementing and managing payroll processes.
Required Skills:
As a Sr. Certified Workday Payroll Consultant, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, including Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll reporting.
Experience in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking is preferred!!
Play an active role in your area of expertise, a point of reference for sharing knowledge and information with colleagues, collaborating to improve internal capability, including training and mentoring of new team members
Must be WD Certified US Payroll
- Workday U.S. Payroll certification required
- Possess a strong understanding of U.S. Payroll, including settlement, taxes, and all regulations applicable regulations at the federal, state and local level(s) in which the customer conducts business
- Must have the ability to guide clients on both Workday best practices, and statutory requirements
- Experience in state and local requirements for payroll taxes
- Provide guidance to clients on how to fill in all payroll workbooks, including payroll history
- Familiarity with third party payroll providers such as ADP
- Overall understanding of how other areas within in Workday interrelate to Payroll, including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Workday Financials
- Industry specific knowledge for Financial Services, Hospitality, Law Firms, and Staffing Agencies
Absence
- Workday Absence Certified (preferred but not required)
- Advise clients on best practices around US based Holiday, PTO, and LOA plans
- Experience in all conversion files around Absence
- Demonstrated deep knowledge of Absence and Time Tracking configuration and Calculated Fields
Time Tracking
- Workday Time Tracking Certified (preferred but not required)
- Must be able to advise clients on US labor laws for hourly employees, and apply with Workday best practices
- Familiarity with third party time clock systems such as Kronos
- Understanding of how Time Tracking relates to other areas of Workday such as Payroll, Absence, and Projects
