Key Responsibilities
1. US Payroll & Benefits Administration (Core Focus)
- Manage end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing for US employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Administer US statutory benefits and commercial insurance programs (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k).
- Lead the annual Open Enrollment process and serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
2. Global C&B Execution (Ex-Greater China)
- Oversee payroll and benefits operations across all international entities (EMEA, APAC), excluding Greater China.
- Partner with local PEOs (Professional Employer Organizations) or local payroll vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Standardize global C&B workflows to improve operational efficiency.
3. Performance & Incentive Management
- Execute the local performance management cycle, including tracking completion, managing documentation, and providing system support.
- Assist in the administration of variable pay programs (bonuses, commissions) and equity/stock option plans where applicable.
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external brokers, insurance carriers, and payroll providers globally.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and benefits data to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Legal teams on tax compliance and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, or Total Rewards.
- Global Exposure: Proven experience managing payroll or benefits in multiple countries .
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, Deel) and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of US labor laws, tax requirements, and benefits landscapes.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex compensation/benefits topics to employees clearly.
- Language: Native English proficiency. Mandarin Chinese is a plus (optional, but helpful for coordination with HQ).
