Key Responsibilities
Process Modernization & Automation
• Assess existing MS Access and Excel based compensation risk reporting processes and identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and simplify.
• Redesign workflows rather than duplicating existing antiquated processes (“not just lift and shift”).
• Develop modernized solutions leveraging Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Reimagine how outputs are produced to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
Business Analysis & Requirements
• Lead end to end business requirements definition to successful completion, including discovery, analysis, documentation, and validation.
• Create detailed business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans, and training materials.
• Conduct customer and market needs analysis to ensure solutions meet evolving expectations and compliance needs.
Cross Functional Collaboration
• Serve as the primary liaison between client subject matter experts, technology teams, product teams, relationship management, quality assurance, and project management partners.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications that development teams can execute.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with tactical plans, risk standards, and long term reporting needs.
Solution Development Support
• Assist with overall system design—from user interface considerations through backend logic—ensuring alignment with modern reporting and workflow capabilities.
• Support user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer during deployment.
• Help identify additional business opportunities and improvements within existing processes and client engagements.
Knowledge Management & Documentation
• Oversee business to system knowledge management to support continuity and future enhancements.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for reengineered processes and system outputs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong expertise with MS Access and Excel, including advanced functions and data transformation.
• Workday Report Writing skills
• Proven experience modernizing legacy processes using Power BI (datasets, data models, report design) and Power Automate (workflow automation, integrations).
• Ability to design efficient, scalable solutions that improve on—not replicate—existing workflows.
• Demonstrated success in business requirements gathering, process analysis, and creating detailed documentation.
• Experience developing use cases, test plans, and training materials.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Creative problem solver who can rethink end to end processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
